We’re on a Mission to Remediate Chronic Malnutrition

Nearly 2.2 million children under five years of age in Central America and approximately 165 million children globally have been documented as chronically malnourished by the World Food Program. Moreover, there are 17 million children in the U.S. who are at risk of becoming chronically malnourished. The compounding effect of these levels of chronic malnutrition represents the precursor to huge economic and socioeconomic costs in lost productivity and increased government budgets for food security throughout the world.

The Sustainable Nutrition International mission is to provide life-changing nutrition to chronically malnourished populations. We started our efforts in North America and Latin America, beginning in Central America, where the needs and opportunities were the greatest at the time.

Changing the life of a child not just for a day, but for a lifetime.

We’re focused on developing public-private sector shared value initiatives to achieve overall success in developing and delivering sustainable bioactive nutrition to nutritionally ‘at risk’ populations through early intervention programs. We have proven we can remediate chronic malnutrition in infants 6-24 months old with NutraLac®, our proprietary hydrolyzed bioactive nutraceutical, extracted from the nutrient-dense bran layers of rice.
