66% of percent of San Agustín Acasaguastlán´s population lives below the poverty line (under US$ 2.00/day) and 19% of its inhabitants are extremely impoverished, living on less than one dollar a day.  In 2008, according to the 2008 height for age census, there were 1,630 children 5 years old or younger, and chronic malnutrition prevalence among them was 38.3%.

54% percent of Sansare´s population lives below the poverty line (under US$ 2.00/day) and 10.1% of its inhabitants are extremely impoverished, living on less than one dollar a day.  In 2010, according to the 2008 height for age census, there were 1,586 children 5 years old or younger, and chronic malnutrition prevalence among them was 24.1%.

In 2011, the under 5-year old population was close to 5,500 children, and chronic malnutrition prevalence among them was 58.4%.

Nearly 75% of the Mataquescuintla population live below the poverty line (under US$ 2.00/day) and 30% of its inhabitants are extremely impoverished, living on less than one dollar a day. In 2011, the under-5-years-old population was close to 2,950 children  and chronic malnutrition prevalence among them was 35.2%.
